THOR Plus (CrimeTracer) Training

Prerequisites: 

Students must bring a laptop computer with the ability to connect to the internet. Students must also have their THOR Plus (CrimeTracer) accounts created, activated, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) set up prior to class. 

Course Length: 3 Hours (2 Hours Instruction + 1 Hour Hands-On Lab) 

Course Description: This course is designed to provide law enforcement personnel with a comprehensive overview of THOR Plus, a powerful law enforcement data sharing platform and search engine that enables users to search data from agencies across the US, including the more than 400 Tennessee agencies contributing records into to THOR Plus.

This training is ideal for both new and current users who want to build foundational skills or strengthen their understanding of THOR Plus. The session will include how to:
• Navigate the THOR Plus platform efficiently
• Conduct effective searches across multiple data sources
• Utilize analytical tools and link charts to support investigations
• Create photo-lineups and more
